I have had the good fortune to supervise many excellent students over the years at undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels. I have learned a great deal from all of them and I am pleased to say that many are now supervising their own doctoral research students and carrying on the noble mission of enabling future generations to undertake high quality research.
I have taught at all levels of higher education. Teaching is an important part of what goes on in universities and is hugely beneficial for research and impact. Teaching is a a pleasure when it goes well and is worth the effort even when it seems to be more of a challenge.
